I'm reposting this as I DID find the woman who offered one last year, however we tried it and hers is just a bit too small for my friend's dog. He needs one for large dogs.
Looking for a LARGE size dog wheel chair for my friend's aprox 70 - (?) 80 lb black Lab who is falling over on bad days from back end paralysis from what sure looks like Degenerative Myelopathy. He's in no pain and is otherwise healthy. I can pick up in any town on 101.
I can promise we will find another dog who needs one when she no longer needs it, which could take anywhere from 6 months to over 2 years. Or we can give it back at that time - hopefully in one piece..
ALTERNATELY, if anyone knows of anyone reasonably listing a used one somewhere else or of any **local** dog societies or groups who might loan a W-chair or help with medical equipment please let me know.
