Vacuum cleaner (Pudsey LS28)

I have recently moved into a new flat and just had carpets put in. Unfortunately, my old vacuum cleaner has decided to break down. As it is nearly 20 years old i think this time it may be permanently broken. I urgently need a new one ASAP. I am at the moment having to clean my carpets by getting on my hands and knees and brushing them.and at nearly 60 years old I am finding it difficult to do. I live in the pudsey area. Just behind the jobcentre. So local to that area would be preferred.thank you. And please, no time wasters or jokers. This is a genuine request!
