Pulley blocks (Neville's Cross DH1)

This twin pulley block system may be out of the ark, but it still offers a 4 to 1 mechanical lifting advantage to those with the patience to set them up properly. In my younger days I've used these pulleys to lift and lower engines or to raise and lower items too heavy to carry up a ladder into my loft space. Perhaps they belong in Beamish (or a skip) but before I do something alien to the purpose of this site, I thought I'd better offer them to someone with the potential to use them one last time!
