Bay tree saplings and seedlings (Needham IP20)

It's the time of year when I notice all the would-be bay trees popping up or growing on from last year, and wonder what to do with them. There are some very nice straight, healthy "treelets" about a foot or so (or 40 cm if you insist) tall. Just the time to dig up and plant on. They will make a tall, glorious tree in time, if you let them, or if you don't have the room, will let you keep them clipped as a bush. You could even keep them in a pot if you really must :) but only if you promise not to clip them like toy poodles. I can drop them off within a reasonable distance of Harleston.
