Unused old school flashlights (Palo Alto downtown north.)

These take those big 6 volt lantern batteries. They are now too expensive locally. Maybe you can find cheaper batts online. Incandescent bulbs. Some resourceful DIYers have adapted these to use 18650 lithium rechargeable batteries and an LED bulb, but that’s more work than I want to do. The alkaline batteries I had in these lasted over ten years. Never used them. Just kept for emergencies.
