A lap top with a CD/DVD disc slot (Snailbeach SY5)

Hi, my new lap top doesn't allow me to play dvd's . It quite simply isn't the same watching on a 7" dvd player. If anyone has one they no longer use or need I would be very grateful if you would consider letting me have it please. thank you for considering this.
