I've got 2x remaining of "Budding Fruit Tree Prunnings" that I suspect will root & grow if planted & watered. If you look at the pics very carefully, you'll see the tight spherical green buds. They are from heavy prunnings of last autumn. I don't know whether they are Green Gage, Green Plum, or Cherry; as I'd pruned all three at the same time, so this is a lucky-dip - lol. Given the price of soft-fruit trees in a garden center, these may well be worth a try.
