Low Frame Ladies Bike (CT3)

After paying out for more repairs and then getting told I need my bearing fitting as sounds clunking, then its clunking more after coming out of bike repair shop, I really need a good bike in good safe order, mine sounds like it could break down at any time and I need a spare anyway, as if I end up in part time work before full time and it's a place I could safely get to by bike I would need to cycle. It would need to be in very good condition. The sort I am sat high up on like the old fashioned style but ideally not old fashioned as overwise chances are am going to need to keep getting repairs done which I just cannot afford. I would need to see a picture and see if I feel it's suitable i.e. can I safely ride it before I take it, as if not suitable I could not take it as bikes are very individual. A manager gave me a bike which I gave to a work colleague, as it was hard for me to ride and a kind cyclist pointed out that a bike is not suitable for you if it's too big, confused said how can it be too big he said as you're having to bend right over, my arms were too short for it . I do not want a mountain bike as I ride long distances. Not trying to be fussy its just I know what I need. Many thanks if think you can help and wait till I can get to where you are. It'll be when I can afford too soon I hope. Thank you
