NOTICE: Recently when I was chatting with the lady again she confirmed to me that she will NOT consider learning how to use a computer and doesn't want to use a cell phone. So, thanks to all who have offered to help with donations, etc.
Today I was chatting with an elderly lady that I often see in our neighbourhood; she always uses a walker.
When we were talking today I asked her if she had a computer, she doesn't but years ago she had one, I asked her about her cell phone, hers is old, no data etc.
My thought is that if I were able to find a decent iPad or iPhone for her I could teach her how to use it and this would allow her to easily stay in contact with others.
I'm familiar with Apple products and a BIG benefit is that if she needed help she could call them and Apple offers free help on the phone or in their store.
If anyone has a functional iPad, iPhone I would appreciate one and I'll gladly help her set it up, etc. .. she lives in a highrise across from my home.
