1970s rotary phone in box (Kingston, NY)

I bought this 30 years ago at a thrift store and used it as a backup “fun” phone in my office for awhile. It doesn’t ring, which, from what I understand, is due to the phone technology now. But hooked to a landline, will dial out. You will also need an adapter.

Hoping to give this to a someone who will actually use it rather than just sell it on ebay. The verizon technician who got this to work was completely intrigued by getting it to work. Hoping someone like him will take this.
