Broken KitchenAid KSM3311X (Fisher & Meadowlands)

Motor works; all the accessories are in very good shape however the only issue is the safety mechanism is faulty. When contact gets made it works and then it stops; then you move it and it starts again. Not sure if someone can fix it or use it for parts.
