Petrol hedge trimmer - no idea if it works (Jacobs Well GU4)

I have never used this as it’s too heavy for me and it’s been sitting in the garage for the past 3 years. I have no idea if it works so who ever takes it will need to know what they’re doing with it. The petrol in there will need emptying as it’s old and there’s what I assume is a new spark plug for it in the box.
