It functions with its 2h timer and 3 speed settings, but officially, this is for spares or repair.
This is not a safe item. Can be used at risk with awareness of its shortcomings, as I have for a few seasons without issue, but parts of the plastic lattice work that allow air though while protecting the vertical cylindrical fan from fingers/pets/objects is not present. A plastic/wire mesh stuck over the gaps would fix this. I have used gaffa tape elsewhere on the casing. A real looker :o).
Has an oscillator on/off button which wouldn't stay depressed, so I bypassed the button inside the unit. A new button would enable easy fixing of that one failed function.
As well as oscillation, there are manual vertical angle adjuster knobs in the front (visible in the first picture).
