Free: Leaky Washing Machine. Spares/Repair. WMD960P(UK) (College Town GU47) Expired 138d - Aesthetics: White, barely a mark. The bolted seam of the circumference in the middle of the tub drips/leaks. Wide shallow oven tray underneath across front included. The digital electronic function is sound. At 1600RPM (faster than most w/ms) the bearings become noisy. Sounds normal at the next setting down. Having replaced the bearings twice over the years I estimate hundreds of cycles before the bearings can no longer handle the lower spin speed. The spider (that the drum bolts to at the rear) is much bigger and stronger than any other design I've seen for the drum size. Not an issue. The belt, filter, pump, digital display, drum and motor are all sound if using for spares. Bearings have been replaced, and can be again. I have the specification. When I last replaced the bearings, the Screwfix OB1 sealant I used around the seam before bolting turned out to be unfit for the waterproof purpose it boasted in the description. It is leaking. Previous sealant from Screwfix, called "Nemesis Mighty Seals & Grabs", lasted the life of the previous bearings and was in great condition when split apart. Replacing the bearings would of course solve the noise, get the RPM to 1600 and eliminate the dripping in one short project.

Request: Propane cylinder (~11Kg-15Kg) / hose (College Town GU47) Expired 201d - Please note, I'm not asking for gas <insert joke>. When starting out -getting the first bottle- a hefty payment is required for the cylinder/bottle itself. The gas content is then paid for separately. The return value of the cylinder dwindles significantly each year so ends up not worth travel fuel and inconvenience. So, I wondered if anyone had one they would be willing to give away. 11Kg - 15Kg is the sort of size I'm after. It's for a freegle barbecue that has no hose either. Again, I can buy an appropriate hose once the fitting is confirmed. If you are afar, we could wait until I'm travelling your way. There is no urgency. Thank you for reading.

Request: Grates for gas barbecue (College Town GU47) Expired 213d - These are usually iron and looking down you cannot see through them, though they are slatted so that hot air can come through but grease cannot drop through to the burners. N.B. These are not the wire racks food is placed on. Thank you. Free: Wheeled barbecue little used but rust coming through paint (College Town GU47) Expired 216d - Bear in mind replies with a specific collection time commitment will get priority.* Functions perfectly, but the paint is giving way to rust. Wire brush and coat with stove paint? Cooking area is about 18" square and the outside with shelves folded is about 2'2" square. Height is about 2'9". Variable height for the food for adjustment:- during a flare-up, when the food is cooking vs cooked, as the charcoal heat is increasing/decreasing. There are two external side shelves and a lower shelf between the four legs. Efficient. The charcoal tray is significantly smaller than the large cooking area, saving fuel, because the heat spreads out as well as up. There's a hinged lid with top swivel for smoke and horizontally aligned adjustable air intake vents at the charcoal level. Free: Gas barbecue (College Town GU47) Expired 219d - Functions fine. I've often nipped outside and fired this up to cook the main part of dinner. It is not big, which for many is an advantage. Looks drab compared to the fancy ones but has two burners, a sparker, a decent cooking grill and upper grill, with lid, wooden slats, temperature gauge, side shelf, and wheels. Free: Barbecue (College Town GU47) Expired 226d - This is a 40cm square charcoal barbecue in great condition, with decent wire tray that has external height adjusters, a hinged lid with adjustable vents, wheels for positioning, and two foldable shelves - so it does not take up much space. I have cooked for twelve people on this. If you have a small vehicle, we can see about unbolting the legs. It's lawn green, by the way! Free: Tower Fan (rough and ready) (College Town GU47) Expired 245d - It functions with its 2h timer and 3 speed settings, but officially, this is for spares or repair. This is not a safe item. Can be used at risk with awareness of its shortcomings, as I have for a few seasons without issue, but parts of the plastic lattice work that allow air though while protecting the vertical cylindrical fan from fingers/pets/objects is not present. A plastic/wire mesh stuck over the gaps would fix this. I have used gaffa tape elsewhere on the casing. A real looker :o). Has an oscillator on/off button which wouldn't stay depressed, so I bypassed the button inside the unit. A new button would enable easy fixing of that one failed function. As well as oscillation, there are manual vertical angle adjuster knobs in the front (visible in the first picture).

Free: Weed remover ("claw" w/handles 1m+ above to twist with). (College Town GU47) Gifted 251d - This hand weeder is designed to keep the body upright so that you will feel a lot comfortable when working. Plunge/push with foot into ground ~10cm and twist using the two handles. The prongs are angled to grab and lift weeds. Metal, about 10cm diameter. Good on tilled earth and between flower beds where weeds appear. Stores easily. Free: Heated "hostess/host" trolley (doors currently detached) (College Town GU47) Expired 253d - Needs attention:- Varnishing plus reattaching of the doors via the piano hinges - present. Teak colour wood, brown glass. Worked (heated) last time it was tested a few years ago. Has been used as a cupboard for clean items in a dry garage for years. If you want a mini project and a novelty at dinner time... Or you want the multiple heater parts out of it.... In your reply you specify a one hour time slot for collection and commit to collect if given the go ahead. That hour can be any time of day. Free: Heater tube. (College Town GU47) Expired 254d - Not sure what voltage it heats at, probably 240v. Ceramic tube from a very big laminator which would get (oven-like) hot according to the temp display. One photo shows the non-ceramic end overhanging the beginning of the measure. Marry this part of the tube with the photo showing the length, subtract the non-ceramic end for consistency which makes the ceramic tube part about 38cm (shown). Add 2cm each end for the gold, red, and nut segments.

Free: Wheelchair Battery box for two 12v W-Chair batteries. Vintage but not much use was had out of them. They were powerful when in use. Also small 24v motor with a 1" cast metal cog from a now disassembled heavy duty laminator, in great condition. Free: Used gas boot struts for Yaris 99-05. 300-504mm with (College Town GU47) Expired 1y - Photo is sample off internet. Telescoping power (not range) reduced by about 10%. They finish lifting the lid with a little push. The lid does not fall back after. No unbolting/screwing required. Only 4mm flat lever needed (e.g. small flat screwdriver) to partially remove clips which push back in place. May be compatible with other lighter boot lids of similar / smaller extension range due to the common ball and socket ends with spring clips.
