Canon MG3250 Inkjet Printer (Kettlethorpe WF2)

This printer has run out of black ink, but has plenty of ink in the installed colour catridges. After switching on, the printer sometimes claims that a repair is needed, & I do not know whether the printer would work OK if a new black cartridge (type PG540) were to be installed. It would best suit someone who has access to a PG540 black cartridge that they could try out in this printer.
