Request: Windows 7/8/10 Laptops (Kettlethorpe WF2) Windows 7/8/10 Laptops As a hobby, for many years, I have been refurbishing old Windows laptops by replacing the Windows operating system with the Linux Mint operating system. I then offer the refurbished computers either to Freecycle or Freegle bidders, or in some cases to other people who are known to be going through a hard time. As part of this process, I always ensure that all personal data is removed before reissuing the laptop. My stock of old computers is now very low, so I would be grateful for any old Windows computers that you would like to donate for recycling to a good cause at no charge. Free: HP Flatbed Scanner (Kettlethorpe WF2) Gifted HP Scanjet 4850. Includes power adapter & USB connection lead - Excellent condition, despite being quite old. (The latest HP approved driver for this scanner was tested on Windows 8.1, but this version also appears to work fine on Windows 10 systems).
