I have a friend.
Well, I have a few, but there’s one in particular.
Hard worker – you know the type. Very handy, building maintenance, 6 days/week.
His van? Died. Then he got a car – rusty, but dependable. He kept it going until one day – the dependable part was gone. Still rusty, though.
He’s grateful to borrow a car 2 days/week and keep the job, but his boss wants him all week.
Working 2 days/week, he cannot save enough for a car.
Without a car, he cannot get to work all week.
He is scared.
He’s looking after his mom, who is recovering from cancer. She’s great, by the way.
His ex-wife and adult son depend on him financially and he’s just nice enough to be there for them.
A vehicle can solve this
I realize it’s a big ask
If you do not want to give such a big item away, it’s understandable.
If you are in a position to give one, I can promise, it’s to a good person, who needs it for a good reason.
