Digital Kitchen scales for repair (SG17 (Shefford))

I bought these scales in Jan 2020 and they were fine until a couple of weeks back, when the digital display kept changing numbers. One of the batteries had started to leak a little bit. Cleaning it up and putting new batteries in didn't help. I've had it replaced under warranty.

This is destined for the tip unless someone can use this for spares or as a digital repair project.
