This cat feeder is not Wi-Fi enabled, it runs on USB power with D-cell battery backup. We upgraded to a new automated feeder, hence us giving away the old one. Our cat liked it just fine, although she would also attempt to stick her tiny little paw up the feeder slot to dislodge extra food, so this may not be the most foolproof feeder for an extremely food-driven cat.
As a heads up the clock on it also runs a little fast and over the course of months it will slowly start to dispense food a little early.
