Originally part of a childrens bedroom furniture set. There is a shelf unit (pictured) and a base unit which the shelf sits on top of - originally was a fold out desk, but is now suitable for use as a bookshelf (adjustable shelves). It certainly works floorstanding, but could be adapted to be wall hung if you add some solid brackets underneath.
To go as both the top unit in the photo and the base unit.
The unit is glued MDF so shouldn't come apart, but I bet the base unit would come apart easily with a thump (to fit in car)
