1930's push-together jigsaw puzzle (Broadstone BH18)

This is a 1930's (I believe) jigsaw puzzle of the push-together variety, in probably the original cardboard box.. It has two pieces missing which were not in the box when we received it. The picture is "The Nelson Touch" which I think is in the National Portrait gallery. It was originally cut from 5-ply board, the name of the cutter was hand-written on the back of one of the pieces by the lady who cut it. We are in the North of Broadstone.
