Free: Assortment of candles (Broadstone BH18) Withdrawn 13d - This is an assortment of household candles suitable for emergency lighting. Some are part used, a couple have suffered from being left in a warm cupboard. Useful when the global warming floods take out your local electricity substation? North Broadstone area.

Free: Gazebo (Broadstone BH18) Gifted 15d - This is a used gazebo, been sat in our garage for some time, comes complete with a lightweight plastic groundsheet. I have not tried to put it up but all of the bits should be there according to the owner, who no longer wants it.

Free: Twin "Boots Movie Lite" double lamp for photography (Broadstone BH18) Gifted 15d - This mains lamp was used by a young photographer to illuminate subjects while taking photographs. It takes two "large screw in" type bulbs (not included) and has a switch on the side.

Free: Freesat set-top box for an HD TV, with recording facility. (Broadstone BH18) Gifted 16d - This is from LIDL, you would need a satellite dish to use it. It has connectors for: HD TV (HDMI connector); pre HD TV (SCART connector); USB stick for recording and an integral mains lead. It also has a set of 3 SPDIF (???) sockets and a set of 3 Pb, Pr and Y sockets (???). It always worked fine with an old SKY dish. At the time we didn't need a recording box so we never tried the recording facility so cannot guarantee that works.

Free: Strip of 'edged' carpet about 59 x 23 inches. (Broadstone BH18) Gifted 22d - This carpet strip has had very little use and is a pale beige/cream colour. It is the same colour throughout but the lighting in our kitchen makes it look varied. It is just a little less than 5ft x 2ft.

Free: A stack of about 50 small 'cardboard' seed planting pots (Broadstone BH18) Gifted 22d - We bought these a long time ago and they worked well. The pots are designed to be planted out with the young plant in them, I tended to break the cardboard as I put the seedlings into their permanent home, but the roots managed to break through the cardboard anyway.

Free: Almost new SDS Electric Drill - not working! (Broadstone BH18) Expired 24d - This is a Parkside drill which just 'stopped' after less than 3 months of light use. It was replaced under warranty without asking me to send it back. They didn't send a new battery pack, drill bits etc with it, but I suspect it may be a simple fault if anyone is interested in trying to fix it before it goes for recycling. It is an SDS drill and has a switch to move between drilling timber etc, and the hammer drill function for masonry. In North Broadstone.

Free: Three double hooks on a hardwood backboard. (Broadstone BH18) Gifted 24d - Six hanging spaces in total. The backboard is already organised with a couple of slotted metal brackets which will slip over screws to hold it securely in place. North Broadstone.

Free: HD TV FreeSAT set top box (Broadstone BH18) Gifted 26d - This is a "SilverCrest" item, bought from LIDL. Did the job for us when we had an old Sky box for FreeSAT and it died. It has SCART and HDMI connectors. It wasn't brilliant, there seemed to be weird characters in some of the channel names but signal went through to the TV ok. It has been in the loft a couple of years since we moved and we don't have a satellite dish to test it with, but it always worked in the past. North Broadstone.

Free: Shopping trolley frame (Broadstone BH18) Gifted 27d - If this is any use to anyone, happy to pass it on, seems to good to scrap it but it would go in the metals skip if not wanted.

Free: Large chopping board (Broadstone BH18) Gifted 27d - Quality wooden chopping board. Approx 20 x 14 x 1.5 inches. No real wear, would ideally need sanding before use.

Free: Ironing board and additional iron stand. (Broadstone BH18) Gifted 30d - These have both been promised to someone who is picking them up on Friday. The ironing board is a good solid standing modern type board with a firm steel mesh top to allow steam to escape. There is a small area of rust (just visible in the picture) in the iron stand space on the board but a quick rub with some emery cloth or sandpaper would get rid of that. The iron stand (second picture) is an IKEA Variera product, all of £7 online but if someone can make use of it, excellent. Take one or take both items, we are in North Broadstone.

Free: Miscellaneous items (Broadstone BH18) Withdrawn 31d - Misc items, North Broadstone. 1). Paraffin lamp, sorry no glass and it will need a new wick in the near future. 2). Wooden knife block with four "Richardsons" LASER serrated edge knives, the handle on the smallest knife has been damaged in the past but it still works OK. There is a slot for a pair of kitchen scissors but we don't have those. THESE ARE ONLY AVAILABLE IF I CAN BE ASSURED THEY WILL NOT END UP WITH SOMEONE ANTICIPATING KNIFE CRIME. 3). Quality wooden chopping board. Approx 20 x 14 x 1.5 inches. No real wear, would ideally need sanding before use.

Free: 3 x 160GB hard disk drives (Broadstone BH18) Gifted 48d - One 160GB Seagate IDE drive, two 160 GB Western Digital ATA drives. All have been formatted and are empty. The IDE drive connects with the older style wide ribbon cable, the other two use the newer narrow ribbon cable connection. In Broadstone if anyone wants them. In a while, I may also have a 320 GB Seagate ATA drive to go.

Free: Two double height CD racks (Broadstone BH18) Gifted 49d - These black metal CD racks each push together as shown on the left of the picture. Four screws each to fit to the wall, cupboard etc. May be enough space for your whole CD/DVD collection. Some of the lower slots are for multi CD set. North Broadstone.

Free: Multi-socket extension leads. (Broadstone BH18) Expired 49d - We have a number of multi-socket power extension leads, mostly 4 socket unswitched, from a house clearance we are helping the family with. I've not tried them all so it would be worthwhile to test any that you take, and also to make sure the fuse in the mains plug has an appropriate lead for whatever you plan to use the sockets for.

Free: Set of free-standing garage shelves. (Broadstone BH18) Gifted 51d - Scruffy but quite serviceable garage shelves which build into a rack about 5 feet high. Four shelves in total. Solid enough when rebuilt (I have all of the fittings) but not recommended for really heavy weights. I can even provide the Allen key to put them together with. We are in North Broadstone.

Free: Three different mirrors, take one or take all (Merley BH21) Gifted 54d - We have three different mirrors ready to go, they are in Merley. The photographs were all taken from angles to show the mirror, rather than the photographer, so although they don't look the shapes indicated, they are as described below. Large plain rectangular mirror (on the floor) with four corner holes with plastic inserts for easy installation, 88 x 61cm. Round mirror 60cm diameter with two screw holes. Framed mirror 46 x 36cm.

Free: Sturdy workshop or garage bench/table (Broadstone BH18) Gifted 54d - This was originally an IKEA "Reporter" desk. The pictures show the desk the right way up and upside down showing the castors at the one end. It is 1140 mm long, 615 mm wide and the composite wooden top is 40 mm thick. Broadstone area.

Free: Bed(s) (Merley BH21) Gifted 58d - We have one double bed and three singles if anyone can use of one or more. They are all in Merley. Sorry the pictures are not too helpful but I didn't realize I would be offering them on here.

Request: YouView (Humax) DTR-T1000 remote (Broadstone BH18) Received 58d - If anyone has an unwanted remote control for a YouView T1000 set top box, it would be very useful, please. We are in Broadstone but can pick up anywhere locally. Thanks for reading.

Free: Sky+HD remote control (Broadstone BH18) Withdrawn 62d - Remote control free to a good home, Broadstone area.

Free: Panasonic SD-255 breadmaker (Broadstone BH18) Gifted 71d - This is a well used bread maker with the additional tools it had from new, including a Rye bread mixer. This model includes a fruit/nut dispenser but no instructions. Instructions are available for download from the Panasonic website. We are in Broadstone.

Free: Small chest freezer. (Broadstone BH18) Gifted 72d - Small chest freezer as shown, part of a house clearance we are helping with. It is in Merley, not our home location.

Request: Foolscap hanging folders for an old filing cabinet (Broadstone BH18) Received 106d - We recently received an old-style filing cabinet but it is for Foolscap files rather than the A4 ones we are currently using. If anyone has a bunch of Foolscap size hanging folders, which are no longer needed, we could make very good use of them, please. Retired so can pick up to suit you. We have kindly been given a number of these already, for which we are truly grateful, but if anyone has more we could certainly use them as we have a 4 drawer filing cabinet to fill. If anyone would like to take some A4 hanging folders, we will have plenty spare as we swap over. Request: A set of Pembroke bedside drawers (Broadstone BH18) Expired 107d - Sorry to post a wanted but we need another set of bedside drawers in this style if possible, please. I'm happy to go out and buy a set but if anyone is having a clear-out, I thought I may as well ask. Retired so could pick up to suit you. Thanks for looking.

Free: Four 'Queen Anne' style stool legs (Broadstone BH18) Expired 111d - These were taken from an old footstool, each one is very solid. They are 15cm tall, about 6 inches. North Broadstone.

Free: A chamber pot/guzzunder (Broadstone BH18) Expired 113d - This is a clean tidy chamber pot which came to us as a plant in a pot won as a raffle prize. Sadly there is a single slight crack part way down the side which makes it unsuitable for its intended use. It could be an interesting ornament, spare toilet roll holder or you could use it for odd jobs you intend to do which warrant the title "crackpot". We are in Broadstone and if you are potty about having this, please reply.

Free: Two lounge/dining room ceiling lights from IKEA (Broadstone BH18) Gifted 113d - Two ceiling lights, the pictures show one of the lights sat on our kitchen table as they were removed a while back. The picture without the glass is just to show the style of the fitting itself, the glass is intact and unmarked on both lights. All of the parts are there to fit the lights to the ceiling, except screws and Rawlplugs (if you need them). The bulbs required are 3 x small screw fitting (E14) for each lamp. The IKEA label says max 3 x 40W but if you use LED lamps as we did, you could have whatever brightness you want. We are to the north of Broadstone.

Free: 1930's push-together jigsaw puzzle (Broadstone BH18) Gifted 125d - This is a 1930's (I believe) jigsaw puzzle of the push-together variety, in probably the original cardboard box.. It has two pieces missing which were not in the box when we received it. The picture is "The Nelson Touch" which I think is in the National Portrait gallery. It was originally cut from 5-ply board, the name of the cutter was hand-written on the back of one of the pieces by the lady who cut it. We are in the North of Broadstone.
