A "Happy Birthday" blow-up decoration (Broadstone BH18)
Promised
In the photo, this is hanging in front of a picture on the wall, and another Christmas decoration which is not included. This wasn't expensive to buy but it seems a waste to just burst the letters and bin them as they are ready to use and strung on the wire that was provided. There is a tube you could use to blow them up further but they really don't need it. In Broadstone or may be able to deliver to Merley next time we are over that way.
Free:
Stainless Steel, single bowl sink unit (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
Sink unit is 37.5 x 20 x 6 inches deep, approximately. The tap is working ok and the overflow setup was replaced recently and is all intact. North Broadstone, ready for collection in a few days.

Foolscap hanging files (Broadstone BH18)
Expired
We have about 25 foolscap size (bigger than A4) hanging files which were given to us a while ago. I have converted the filing cabinet to take the A4 files we already had, so we no longer need the foolscap ones. They have all been used and many of them are for large quantities of paper, but I've folded the bases so that they work ok in a normal file situation. We are in Broadstone and would like them gone. Many still have the original index label holders.

Request:
Windows 10 laptop (Broadstone BH18)
Received
Sorry it's a wanted. Many of the older laptops will not work with the new Windows 11, so they are being replaced. If you have a Windows 10 laptop you are consigning to the bottom of the wardrobe, I can probably install Linux and continue to use it for many years to come. Happy to collect as long as it is working. Thanks for reading.

White toilet seat and lid (Broadstone BH18)
Expired
Obviously this is a used item, it was a 'soft close' seat but the mechanism doesn't work so you have to close it manually. Fittings and sample instructions are included for a toilet where the fitting bolts are visible below the sides of the toilet, not the new fangled type with just two holes in the top. In Broadstone, will end up in the Poole Tip 'hard plastics' skip if no-one wants it.

A pair of conifers, about 4 feet tall. (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
ALREADY OFFERED These were originally the centre-piece of some hanging baskets, but it seemed a pity to throw them out when the annuals keeled over in the winter. They are 5 or more years old and about 4 feet tall. They would be fine for a few years in larger pots or could be planted to slowly grow into mature trees. They are not Leylandii so don't expect them to put on 3 feet or growth every year. Take either or both, though we would prefer them to go as a pair. We are in Broadstone.

Pittosporum Tree (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
ALREADY OFFERED Pittosporum tree, grown from seed from our own tree at the previous house. It is evergreen and has inconspicuous flowers in the autumn with a pleasant, heavy scent. Could be kept trimmed for flower arranging or left to grow where it can get upwards of 30 feet, over many years. It has been in this pot for about 5 years and could do with being planted out but our garden isn't suitable. We are in Broadstone.

Paddling pool? (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
This old inflatable boat blows up ok but - as you can see in the second picture - it starts to deflate (slowly) after a few hours. Rather than scrapping it and have it end up in landfill, I wondered whether anyone with young children or visiting grandkids would like to have it as a summer paddling/play pool. It is about 4 or 5 feet long and you can have the (surprisingly effective) foot pump with it to give it a quick boost before it is being used. We are in Broadstone.

Free:
Two tennis(?) racquets (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
Two tennis racquets (I think). One looks more modern and I have added a second picture taken from the other side. The other seems fairly old, but serviceable. Broadstone.

Free:
Old fashioned radio/cassette player. (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
This picks up Long Wave, Medium Wave and FM stations through the attached extending aerial and can be powered by a two pin mains lead or 6 large C or D (not sure which, but the biggest) batteries. The thumbnail picture on here is not in the right proportions but if you look at the proper picture you will see it is about 8" high x 12" wide. I haven't used the cassette tape player for years and it goes round but will probably not work. North Broadstone.

Free:
Sony VHS (tape) video recorder and remote (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
This is an old style VHS tape video player/recorder, it has SCART connections and red/white audio output. We can probably provide a SCART lead if you need one. Mains lead and instruction book included. I may also be able to find a spare aerial lead if you need it, but no guarantee. Obviously this won't play CD's or DVD's etc, only VHS tapes. In Broadstone.

Request:
Paving blocks (Broadstone BH18)
Received
I am in need of about a dozen paving blocks, not big slabs just the smaller blocks used for driveways. The colour doesn't matter as I just need them to stop our gravel path sneaking under the fence into next door's garden. Broadstone area would be ideal but I can travel so can pick up to suit you.

Austin A35 sidelight (Broadstone BH18)
Expired
Unusual item to offer on here, but this has been kicking about in my garage for about 60 years. An A35 van was our first car and I have no idea where I got a spare sidelight from. In North Broadstone if anyone has an old A30/35.

Free:
Kitchen roll (cling, alufoil, greaseproof paper) holders. (Broadstone BH18)
Expired
We have a bunch of these roll holders which sat in a cupboard and we have now put the rolls elsewhere. We had stuck some of them in with sticky tabs, some with blue tack and some were screwed in place, they were very useful, kept the rolls organised and we always knew where they were. If you would like one, two or several, please come and take some away. We have eight in all. We are in North Broadstone.

Complete 'shaker' style kitchen (Broadstone BH18)
Expired
This kitchen is due to be removed on 20th May, but if you are capable, we would be happy for it to be removed a day or so beforehand. All of the appliances are already spoken for and the final picture shows a tall cupboard and sink cupboard from the utility room. We may decide to redeploy a couple of cupboards into the garage but that is not decided yet. North Broadstone.

A wall lamp suitable for a porch or conservatory (Broadstone BH18)
Expired
Not suitable for installation outside as it is not certified waterproof. Works fine but we decided to install something a bit more modern. The six small glass panes are plain glass but I probably still have the original smoked glass panes, if you would like them. This wall lamp requires an earth connection, for which it is wired. We are in North Broadstone.

Free:
Kitchen extractor (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
This is a stainless steel Kitchen Extractor unit 90cm wide 50cm deep and just less than 70 cm high at the point where it goes through the ceiling. It is designed to extract out through a duct to the open air, it does not have a recycle facility. There is an LED light on the front which illuminates when it is in use. There is also a switch for a built-in downlight at the back of the extractor. It works well but will probably benefit from an internal clean-up before re-installation. North Broadstone.

Free:
Under counter freezer (Broadstone BH18)

This is an old Zanussi under-the-counter freezer in reasonable condition. Probably best installed in the garage, though we have had it in the utility room for a couple of years. There is a top flap opening section, two drawers and a bottom flap opening section. We have the original instructions. The LED's on the front are very dim.

Gazebo (Broadstone BH18)

This is a used gazebo, been sat in our garage for some time, comes complete with a lightweight plastic groundsheet. I have not tried to put it up but all of the bits should be there according to the owner, who no longer wants it.

Free:
Freesat set-top box for an HD TV, with recording facility. (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
This is from LIDL, you would need a satellite dish to use it. It has connectors for: HD TV (HDMI connector); pre HD TV (SCART connector); USB stick for recording and an integral mains lead. It also has a set of 3 SPDIF (???) sockets and a set of 3 Pb, Pr and Y sockets (???). It always worked fine with an old SKY dish. At the time we didn't need a recording box so we never tried the recording facility so cannot guarantee that works.

Free:
Strip of 'edged' carpet about 59 x 23 inches. (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
This carpet strip has had very little use and is a pale beige/cream colour. It is the same colour throughout but the lighting in our kitchen makes it look varied. It is just a little less than 5ft x 2ft.

Free:
A stack of about 50 small 'cardboard' seed planting pots (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
We bought these a long time ago and they worked well. The pots are designed to be planted out with the young plant in them, I tended to break the cardboard as I put the seedlings into their permanent home, but the roots managed to break through the cardboard anyway.
