Old but works. It did burn out but parts replaced. 3 Makita batteries 3AH but in very poor condition. 1 cheap copy battery. The drill is very powerful but will only drill in about 4 or 5 screws. Makita battery may perform much; much better but they are expensive. Best if you already have or know someone with this model to see if it is worthwhile. Battery charger is in excellent condition.
