I am looking for donations of older phones to bring to Kenya on my next visit there (a memorial in March). I have so far been able to gift 4 phones to people who would never be able to afford them from their meagre pay and it makes a huge difference in their lives even more than here. Work is usually remote from the family, banking via phone happens in shops, training for qualifications can mean a job. Plus, your old phone can make someone really happy!
I can take photos as proof of delivery if you like.
The only conditions are that the battery has some life left and that the phone is not network (SIM) -locked.
