Request: your 'old' smartphone (Dursley GL11) Expired 50d - I am looking for donations of older phones to bring to Kenya on my next visit there (a memorial in March). I have so far been able to gift 4 phones to people who would never be able to afford them from their meagre pay and it makes a huge difference in their lives even more than here. Work is usually remote from the family, banking via phone happens in shops, training for qualifications can mean a job. Plus, your old phone can make someone really happy! I can take photos as proof of delivery if you like. The only conditions are that the battery has some life left and that the phone is not network (SIM) -locked. Free: dumpy bags (Dursley GL11) Expired 1y - About 10 tonbags, they contained ballast or sand so not clean. Some in good state others have small tears (nothing a bit of duct tape wouldn't fix for a grubby job or two) Request: cat bed (Dursley GL11) Received 1y - We need a not too large cat bed that can be washed in the washing machine. I'm trying wine, cider and meade but really need some reasonable equipment. Thank you. Request: Suitcase (Dursley GL11) Expired 1y - My husbands two suitcases were stolen on his last trip. So we are in need of two stabil large suitcases for the next journey in 7 days. His mum is ill and needs family support, hence another trip coming up. On wheels please, a handle would be great. If you have an older phone and look for a good cause: Kenyans who work as staff are usually separated from their village and family. Much of their social life depends and their banking depends on cell phones. But besides them gettin paid a pittance, the locally sold devices are built-to-break. So I try to supply the people I know with reasonable phones. I do this privately via a trustworthy friend who would give them to villagers or church friends. Thank you for considering. Free: Double bed (Dursley GL11) Expired 1y - 140x190 cm, hight 58 cm. Fire resistent labels. Older model but hardly used at all. Base comes with 4 useful spacious drawers. Spotless matress. For pick up, the base comes in two halves. But the matress is 140 x 90.

Free: Single bed (Dursley GL11) Expired 1y - Old but had been in use only ever part time. Very comfortable. Matress has one or two ageing spots as has the end of the bed but nothing messy. No fire labels as predates requirement. Way to comfy for the tip!

Free: bedside table (Dursley GL11) Gifted 1y - Wood, good condition, stands on feet. 68x39x39 cm

Free: chest of drawer (Dursley GL11) Gifted 1y - Light wood, no plastic except the (temporary) door knobs. It's over 60 years old and had many layers of paint on. There are a few traces left - so, an upcycling project? Measures 106 x 88 x 50 cm (lxhxd)

Request: a tent (Dursley GL11) Received 1y - We need one or even two tents for a trip. That would be 2 tents for 2-3 persons each or a family tent. If you have one to part with we could give it a home full of appreciation. Request: 1 sqm tongue and groove cladding (Dursley GL11) Expired 1y - If you have a rest of said cladding, we could use it for the roof of our wood storage shed. We have almost enough.
