As shown in photo, a pair of 8" high plastic solar lanterns with a flickering warm white fake candle effect. Still work well, though more for atmosphere than lighting as they aren't super-bright! The battery and on/off switch is easily accessible in the base and the battery can be changed for another rechargeable when needed. The clear plastic on one has become a little cloudy, and they are missing the hangers and battery covers.
