Set of 5 antique circa mid-1800's stenciled American chairs. Detail turnings, single plank seat, early dark black paint with gold and red foliage and fruit bowl stencils with gold trim. Authentic early patina; have not been refinished. Minor fading of stenciling in places. In very good antique condition. Some small dings and old wear marks. Solid and comfortable; four back spindles are snug. Not in need of repair.
