This Philips AZ-1065 is a portable FM radio with great sound. It works in AM as well, but AM audio fidelity is not great.
The unit started its life with other fine features IT NO LONGER HAS: Neither the CD player/recorder nor the cassette deck work. The telescoping antenna is gone; not pretty, but the power cord works to pick up signals exactly as well as the original antenna did.
It's given me great service as a kitchen companion, but I need to reclaim counter space & would like to find a good home for it. If you have any love for music but you're currently listening using a phone or tablet, consider upgrading to this one.
