Shallow Utility bin/organizer (South Brampton)

Has a couple of hole on the bottom and sides, for drainage, I assume. Found in the garage and have no idea what it’s for. Have washed it but still wouldn’t use it for holding g food. Could hold spray cans, tins, other things. Cb useful as a trunk organizer or ???
