Grass seed (small qty (Palm Park, Redwood City)

After our remodel, the backyard grass has taken a beating. I need to reseed sections of the yard. I don't know what type of grass is growing right now, and I'm not picky about reseeding with a different type. The yard is tiny <200 sf, so I don't want to invest in a bag and then have it sit in my garage for years.
