Old skirting boards / wood planks (SE12)

Can anyone make use of old skirting boards as wooden planks for walk ways in their vegetable gardens or allotment as we have a couple going spare? They're a bit rough and ready but would work as planks. They're approx 1.5m each in length, if not slightly more
