Desk clock tarnished base New Box (Southern Heights BD San Rafael)

Never used desk clock. Needs a new battery.
You could just run your finger nail to get the watch out (see second photo). Change the battery like your wrist watch. Received it as a gift or purchased it for someone in mind probably 25 years ago. Still in the original box.
Hope someone has time to polish the heavy metal frame that the clock nests in. The clock itself is not tarnished and shiny like a new watch (face still covered with a protective seal.
The base has the valvet cover to protect the desk surface. Very heavy about 13 Oz per the whole size. Only 3” tall.
Easy pick up from not far from Wolfe Grade & C street in San Rafael. Winding & narrow hilly roads. Anytime pick up from driveway is okay.
