This is an older webcam with microphone which just plugs in to a USB socket. Fully working. It has a physical slide cover to cover the lens and mute the microphone if you are concerned about privacy. It's not as hi res or good quality in lower light as today's cameras but still more than adequate for calls etc.
Probably more suitable for someone who is comfortable with installing drivers on Windows. Windows will automatically install a generic "USB Video Device" driver when the camera is installed. The image may be no good however and you would need to have a way to change settings.
You can install Microsoft Skype for free as one way to do this. The audio/video settings in Skype will allow adjusting the camera settings and picture and will stay set for use in other applications like Zoom. OBS can also adjust settings if you use that. The Windows camera app will not work properly with the camera unless yo install a driver (see below).
I was using it on Windows 10 64-bit with a Logitech driver, but the Logitech driver is not now available on the Logitech site. It is easy to find elsewhere by searching, but the usual care is needed to check any downloads. I don't know if it is possible to use with Windows 11 or MacOS. One source is: https://www.driverscape.com/download/logitech-quickcam-s5500
This is the version I was using and I just reuploaded the driver package from that site to Virustotal and it was undetected. Use your own usual precautions of course.
