It's a fair age, works well I think (I got it from my mother,) it has its battery pack but I can't find the charger, so you'd have to buy one (I see them on ebay for £10,) and no absolute guarantee it'd work after that, but I'm pretty sure it would. It has a 1Gb card in it.
Canon chargers had various versions, some are compatible, some are not. I see that this model needs NB-5L, and I see from this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/296385188362 that they're £10 and NB-4L and NB-5L at least are compatible.
