Soda stream - please read B4 asking (Chorlton M32)

I was gifted this item but I don't have a gas bottle so unable to test it so I can't guarantee It works as it should. However if it doesn't work properly perhaps it's a quick fix or for someone who already has one it could be of use for spare parts.

There is a soda stream bottle with top included.
