We have a huge amount of tiger worms which are fabulous worms for composting. We would like to offer anyone wishing to start composting their food waste to take a small container full home.

We have used Tiger worms in our ecomax compost bin to breakdown our food waste. They break down food at a phenomenal rate. The worm castings/worm poop (black gold) have worked actual miracles on our clay garden soil and can be used as compost and highly nutritious fertiliser for all kinds of plants and trees.

It is bonkers to me how much food goes to waste and how easy it is to make the best compost at home relatively quickly (obviously much quicker in warmer weather). If it’s something you’ve been on the fence about feel free to have a chat! It’s honestly much easier than it is made out to be.
