Poorly hosta (Fareham PO15)

My poor hosta has been eaten by slugs and snails that I suspect may have laid eggs in the soil. Needs repotting and next year it should look beautiful again. The container is a bit battered too but could spruce up ok? I don't have the time to give these but I'm hoping someone else might.
