Micro Scalextrics Cars (Gidea Park RM2)

Hello. Does anybody have any micro scalextrics cars that they no longer use.this is for a non Battery set. Tried to introduce grandson to something that did not involve a keyboard but found cars to be faulty
Any help really appreciated
