I'd like to give them a new purpose.
Hi Trashers, Freeglers and Cyclers,
- Pre-1960's (ideally but not exclusively), and sepia/black and white would be particularly of interest.
- Subjects including people/portrait photos, rural/urban/suburban/industrial scenery, objects even - anything that really seems from a much earlier time or way of life. No limit really, just anonymous/forgotten people, interesting times/places/activities.
- For creative based projects - collages, inspiration and portraiture exercises (art therapy).
I think it's better than putting the traces of real lives through a shredder or into landfill.
Please note:- if some (not all) are particularly interesting I might make them available via a suitable sharing platform online for community interest or other platforms that offer a profit incentive - depends on what type of interesting they are.
This might help me a little financially as I am a carer with restricted opportunities to go out and work outside the home for any useful period of time.
- I have quite a lot of flexibility for collection times most days, however I might be limited on how far I can go depending on my care duties that week.
