cat/dog tracker (melrose)

offer: Girafus cat/dog tracker. well used . works fine. I bought 2 used ones years ago and guess I don't need a backup so getting rid of the one i've been using and use the other one ......a few caveats
these work on radio waves not gps. the tag is very light and sends out a signal every minute so you can't use a car to find your pet unless you go real slow or you will travel in a minute further then the range it has which in the city is lower then open fields...about 500-600 in my neighborhood. but if you have a indoor cat they usually will freak out and hide close by before traveling. I don't have a car so no problem with that. you will need to get a CR2032 Lithium rechargeable coin battery for the tag and 2 AAA batteries for the tracking unit. I got 2 coin batteries to swap each out every week since I check my outside cat, I check it many itimes a day so it only last me a week. but if yours is an inside cat and your worried it might get outside then it probably will last longer, there is a button to press to see if its charged and a charger is included. lastly I lost the tiny screws so use small elastics (which I've included some) to hold it together...which if I thought of it , would have done that earlier since its much easier to replace the battery. then unscrewing those screws https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7zG8HloL-E.
