Large Brown glazed pot (Pensax WR6)

I've no real idea what this is for! It's got no lid and is 8 and a half inches tall with a diameter of about 9 and a half inches (photograph with a mug to give it some sort of size comparison!) Perhaps useful for putting a pot plant in?

I'm 100 miles away from where this stuff is stored, so collection needs to be arranged well in advance, but I can usually be available at weekends
