Toaster - needs repair (Hove Green BN3)

Russel Hobbs four-slice toaster. Elements etc all working but the lever mechanism for putting the toast up or down is broken and makes the toaster unusable (levers won't go down now, on either side). It's a piece of plastic that's broken on both sides - and we can't find a replacement. Someone who likes taking things apart and fashioning a 'fix' might get this going. It's a nice toaster otherwise.
