This item will allow you to switch between a wide variety of devices for viewing on your TV. (eg: Video Recorder/ DVD/ Camcorder etc.). The instruction pages that come with it is for a more advanced version that needs a 12volt power source. This item, however, needs no external power source and requires you only to select the required input by using the clearly marked push button switches.
