Bit of a long shot here, every year myself and the family put together care packages/cold weather sets to give out to the homeless. What I normally do is wait on sales on gloves, thick socks, camping bags, backpacks, sleeping bags, hats etc. earlier in the year and then make up sets to hand out as the weather turns bitter. This year has been a bit sparce on sales and I don't have as much as I normally would do to make up packs and I thought to ask here.
If anyone has old (but still usable) camping items (single person pop up tent, ground sheet, yoga mats, sleeping bags etc.) I would love to collect them and use to help build the packs.
I am going to pop past all my local charity shops to get as many large/xl coats, scarfs and hats as I can as well.
