Piano- must go by end January (Pontypridd CF37)

Our piano (A rosewood Neumeyer, made in Berlin) is old, but in good shape.
It has couple of minor defects - it needs a replacement hammer on the second Ab from the top, and the soft pedal mechanism is not well designed, but easily fixable - I just don't bother any more. Apart from that, it just needs tuning.

However, it is overstrung, which means that the strings for the lowest octave or so are strung across the remaining strings, resulting in a richer, more powerful sound.
But this arrangement demands a bigger, stronger frame, making the piano heavier than a simpler, straight-strung design.

Dimensions: 161cms length x 67cms width at widest part x 129 cms high

The piano has castors, but will still need a specialised piano trolley (around £20 to hire per day) and a ramp to get it in and out of a van.
