This plant is aconitum. It is a clump forming hardy perennial (so it dies down in winter and regrows in spring) and grows to about 2 -3 feet tall and has deep blue flowers in mid-late summer. BUT ALL PARTS OF THE PLANT ARE HIGHLY POISONOUS, and you need to wear gloves to handle it. Please don't request this plant if you have children (or vulnerable adults), or children visit your garden.
