Standard lamp - only reading light works (Sale M33)

It is a good quality heavy lamp. The reading light works but the top uplighter doesn't. If you are good at electrical DIY you may be able to fix it (I have spare bulbs) or put a different light in the top. Failing that you could even put some sort of battery operated light in the top for atmosphere. I've given a close up photo of the top lamp so you can see what it's like. Here's hoping someone can make use of it.
