Sump pump float switch (Darien)

Got this from Home Depot a week ago thinking it would be a cheap solution to replace a sump electronic water sensor gone bad. Didn’t work out for me as it kept getting hung up in the pit, no matter how hard I tried to adjust it for proper operation. Got an replacement electronic sensor and now have this to dispose of, and since it’s been used for a week, can’t take it back. It does work, but not for my application. 8’ cord. 13A rating.
