This printer was working fine, but began to leave ink streaks on the paper. No other problem at all. (Sadly we didn’t have time to try and solve the problem). Quick research on potential causes:
- happens when the rollers or the transfer belt inside the printer get dirty or covered in excess toner/ink.
- clogged nozzles
- the printhead needs to be cleaned.
We are happy to pass the printer on to someone prepared to tackle the problem or wishes to have the printer for parts, otherwise we’ll recycle it.
