Free: Expanding Portable File Boxes (Alta Vista) Gifted 87d - 4 legal-size, expanding, portable file boxes. - 20 interior compartments labelled alphabetically - inside dim: 4-3/4” x 9-1/4” x 14-1/4” - outside dim: 5-1/2” x 10” x 15-1/4” - dk green colour These are in very good working condition, but the interior partitions do have annotated 1-1” x 2-1/2” labels on them as I used the boxes for yearly business records. These could be covered by your own labels. Also, a few boxes have marks on the outside where I removed labels. For porch pickup. Updates: Feb 4, 12:50pm: 2 have been promised. So, 4 left.

Free: Silverware cutlery organizer (Alta Vista) Gifted 124d - Old-school silverware cutlery organizer. From Broyhill furniture maker. Never used. Hardboard covered with a dark brown flannel-type cloth. 26” wide by 15-1/4” deep. With a soft, dark brown, flannel-type cloth cover sheet. Two blocks with 12 slots each (for place-setting cutlery). One bigger block with 5 big slots (for serving utensil).

Free: Red oak cap for pony wall (Alta Vista) Gifted 157d - 3/4” x 7-1/2” x 49-3/4” Stained with a satin finish urethane. 30 yrs old but in excellent condition. I extended my pony wall and had to replace the cap with a longer piece.

Free: Flexible aluminum duct (Alta Vista) Gifted 191d - Flexible aluminum duct, 6”x6’. Came with a range hood but not used (I used rigid ducts instead). For porch pickup.

Free: Soaker hose (12’) (Alta Vista) Gifted 191d - 12’ soaker hose. Excellent condition.

Free: Bicycle tires 27-1/4 Slicks (Alta Vista) Gifted 191d - Continental Ultra Sport 32-630 (27x1-1/4) slicks suitable for commuting or road bike. Not sure of vintage (maybe 6-8 yrs old), but hardly used and in very good condition. They have been in storage for about 5 years.

Free: Bicycle Tires (700x35) (Alta Vista) Gifted 191d - Bontrager 700x35 (37-622) (1.4”) tires for commuter type bike. 2015 vintage but lightly used. Good condition. Never punctured. For porch pickup.

Free: Soccer or ultimate shoes (Alta Vista) Gifted 191d - Women’s size 9 Nike classic soccer/ultimate shoes. Used lightly for a couple of seasons of ultimate many years ago. “Classic” means old. These are probably about 20 years old but seem to be in very good condition. For porch pickup in Alta Vista. We have a covered porch allowing one to comfortably try them on here.

Free: Sump pump 1/3 hp (Alta Vista) Gifted 300d - Diamond 1/3 hp submersible pump. Only used for draining water from swimming pool. 1-1/4” discharge pipe. Lower housing is cracked (glued) and a small piece is missing but it did not affect my use of it. For porch pickup.

Free: Ceramic tile mortar and grout (Alta Vista) Expired 313d - About 15 kg of MAPEI mortar for large floor tiles and/or stone. Will cover between 40 and 50 sq ft I believe with a 1/4” x 1/4” x 3/8” deep notched trowel. See photos for details. I used some for 12”x24” porcelain tiles in front of a fireplace. Very nice mortar to work with. Has a long working time, supposedly up to 4 hours. I found it perfectly workable over an hour (did not skin over). I mixed 8 cups of mortar powder to 1 L of water to get peanut butter consistency. Also about 5 lbs of light grey Mapei premium, quick setting grout. Purchased at Rona a few weeks ago. For porch pickup.

Free: Drywall - 1/2 sheet (Alta Vista) Gifted 323d - 40”x48”x1/2” sheet of standard drywall. New, no blemishes or marks. For porch pick up. Free: 18 GA x 1-1/2” galvanized staples (Alta Vista) Gifted 341d - These were left over at my house by flooring contractors. I think they are 18 gauge and galvanized. 1-1/2” long. There must be several hundred loose in the box. For porch pickup in Alta Vista.

Free: Earbuds (wired) (Alta Vista) Gifted 1y - Assorted wired earbuds, most of which were never used or only used once (i.e. used during an air flight). Available for porch pickup.

Free: PVC pipe - 1-1/2” (Alta Vista) Gifted 1y - Various lengths including 1 at 13’ and 2 at 16’ (albeit with unions). Was used for swimming pool roof-top solar heating system since 2008. Available for driveway pickup.

Free: Steel cable with cable clamps (Alta Vista) Gifted 1y - Two lengths of 3/16” steel cable (encased in clear plastic sheathing), each approximately 30’ in length. Also a bunch of cable clamps. Available for porch pickup anytime.

Free: Swimming Pool Solar Heating System (Alta Vista) Gifted 1y - This system includes panels that had been installed on my house roof in 2008 at total cost of $6,600 and used for 20’x40’ in-ground pool up until August 20th, 2022. Electronic controls were housed in a pool shed. The system heated water up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit (temperature of water coming from panels). See enersol.com for general info, FAQ, and installation instructions. Extend your swimming pool season this year and start up early next year! The heating is free. It Includes: - 30 rubber 12” x 10’ ribbed water channel panels (1 is new and unused, 4 need one replacement header each, 25 others were working fine at disassembly last week). These currently retail for $107 each. - 58 distribution headers (56 are still attached to the panels, one at each end, 2 are new and unused). Clips and O-rings for headers. - Aqua Solar electronic solar control centre with 2 in-line temperature sensors and with manual (controls the actuator valve to send/receive water to/from heating grid depending on pool water temperature and solar system water temperature). These currently retail for about $730). - GVA-24 valve actuator (new in 2022), with manual. - Miscellaneous PVC pipe lengths, some with fittings. I've passing this system on primarily because I'm looking at installing a photovoltaic system on my roof to generate electricity for multiple household purposes. Photos show 1) the collection of components with the panels in rolls 2) the system as it was on my roof 3) the control panel, 4) the actuator and piping. Condition: - The ribbed panels seem as good as new. They have never leaked. - The headers are more susceptible to UV degradation. I've replaced 4 of them in the past few years ($70 for 4 from Pool Supplies Canada), and always kept a couple of spares on hand. They are easy to replace. - The control panel has never been exposed to the elements and has never been any trouble - it looks new. - The actuator was replaced this year. As the actuator handle moves from one position to the next it leaks a bit, but it does not leak at all once in position. The leak is from the original lower half of the device. The leak was so trivial that I never bothered opening it up to see if a gasket or ring needed replacing.

Free: ZVOX 580 TV Surround Sound System (Alta Vista) Gifted 1y - 2011 ZVOX 589 TV surround sound system (soundbar). Excellent condition. Includes remote and power cable. Audio and video cables not included (those will depend on your TV). Suitable as a base for your panel TV. 36” wide x 16.5” deep x 5” high. Good review and description at: / Was used by my elderly parents for improved sound to address their hearing deficiencies. For curb side pickup.
